I tried creating an Oracle Cloud Free Tier account using my HDFC credit card (India).

• Card verification charge was deducted twice.
• Account creation failed with the generic error: "Oops, we're sorry, an error occurred while creating your account."
• No Oracle account was created.

My questions:

1. How long does Oracle usually take to reverse these verification charges to an HDFC account?
2. Has anyone from India faced this issue and successfully resolved it?
3. Any idea what causes this error and how to get the account approved?

My Daikin AC remote (ARC484B32) suddenly stopped showing anything on the LCD display.

What I've checked:

• Installed fresh batteries
• Backlight turns on normally (see attached image)
• IR transmitter is working (verified using phone camera)
• AC still seems to receive commands
• Display is completely blank, even when viewed under a bright flashlight

In the attached image:

• Left: batteries installed, display blank
• Right: backlight on, but LCD still completely blank

Has anyone repaired this issue at home? Is it usually:

• a loose LCD ribbon/zebra strip,
• a failed LCD panel,
• or something else?

Looking for DIY repair advice before buying a replacement remote.
