Hello everyone! I am a 29yo nonbinary person with an emotional support cat. My budget is $1300 and im looking to move to Brooklyn, Queens, or Upper Manhattan ASAP (by may 31st). My biggest issue right now are security deposits and fees I would be able to pay the down payment on my next pay day (June 3rd). I don't mind a roomshare and my cat is surprisingly chill with all other animals. I am very tidy and try to stay to myself but I am also very friendly and approachable! Let me know if there's anything out there in the NYC universe!

Ive been homeless for about 7 months and working for the department of health for 2 years. Im also disabled and tried everything to get a home with no luck. I have an emotional support animal that apparently isnt allowed in city shelters and I will be on the street again while working and trying everything im my power to get a home. The lottery and other apartment resources have failed. The city has failed. I want to move to a nearby state but I know one of the rules is to have residency in NYC to work for my department. Is there any way around this?
