25F Moving to NYC in September | Manhattan | Up to $1,000 All In

Hi! I’m 25F and currently in Texas, planning to move to NYC around the middle to end of September. I’m looking for a room in Manhattan and am open to living with anyone, any age.

I’m clean, respectful, quiet, and easygoing. My budget is up to $1,000/month total including utilities.

If you have a room available around that time, feel free to message me with details!

[For Hire] trying to move to NYC from Dallas, kind of starting from zero — any advice?

okay so I’m 25, I have no formal job experience because I spent the last few years as a full time caregiver for my dad which honestly took up like my entire personhood. now I’m trying to actually enter society and NYC is calling but I have no income, no pay stubs, nothing a landlord wants to see.

does anyone know how people actually make this work in this economy? like do you just show up and figure it out or is there a realistic path I’m missing. feel like I missed the window where you could just move somewhere and wing it but maybe not idk

would take literally any job tbh. any advice or leads genuinely appreciated 🙏
