What if China was actually the only civilization

Chinese society used to think it was the only non barbarian people in the world. In this timeline, The yangtze and yellow river are the only regions on earth where agriculture is developed. The rest of the world remain hunter gatherers. China would expand until it hit the artic in the north, endless jungle in the south, and endless steppe to the west.
China would likely technology advance, but extremely slowly due to confucian bureaucracy. I don’t know if it would ever become socialist or a republic, but it would never be influenced by western culture.

Hasmonean Empire - The Hasmonean dynasty become imperialists, and the empire becomes a neutral buffer between the Roman Empire and the Persians. Becomes fabulously wealthy of trade.

What if the Celtic church survived and the protestant reformation never happened

The Celtic church was a branch of Christianity created by the welsh and Irish, but was shortly incorporated into general Catholicism. In this timeline it survives due to the papacy focusing all of their resources on converting pagans in continental Europe and fighting the Byzantines. Martin Luther moves to denmark and converts to Celtic Christianity instead of trying to reform the Papacy.
