Somerville Fermentation Festival! Sun Aug 16 10am-5pm, at the Armory

Hi all!

The Somerville Fermentation Festival is Sunday August 16 at the Armory at 191 Highland Ave, Somerville!

Free of charge from 11am-5pm!

There will be vendors, speakers, a panel, tastings, a "culture sharing" table, a "kraut mob" where you can make your own sauerkraut, a "fermentation help desk" where you can ask questions, and much more!

The main event is free of charge from 11am-5pm. Early access (10am-11am), speakers, panel, and tastings are ticketed. Buy tickets in advance and secure your spot!

are subjunctive forms in English going away?

There's a lot of "If only there was ..." on the Internet. It grates on my ears. Or on my eyes, I suppose.

("If only there were ..." would be correct. Like "If I were a rich man.")

Should I let it go? Is the subjunctive I grew up with a relic? Am I a relic? I'm in the US--are things different in other English-speaking countries?
