Hey everyone! I’m looking to get back into hockey this fall and wondering if anyone knows of any adult/beer leagues in Kanata or the west end that accept individual/free-agent players. I played house league growing up and intramurals during grad school, so I’m a bit rusty but definitely not a beginner. Ideally looking for a recreational league where I can join a team as an individual.

Unfortunately, my pickleball partner had to withdraw due to a family issue, so I'm still looking for someone to join me for the Wednesday evening (7:30-10:30) pickleball league at Carleton.
I'm 25, a new player, and mainly looking to have fun, stay active, and meet new people. We'd split the registration fee 50/50, and I'm happy to share all the league details if you're interested.
If you don't need a partner yourself but know someone who might be interested, I'd really appreciate it if you could point them my way.
I'm also open to other solutions**.** If you're part of a pair where one person can't make it, or if two solo players are looking to team up and it makes more sense for me to switch around, I'd be happy to make that work too. At this point I'm just hoping to be able to play!

I am going for my convocation tomorrow morning. I am a grad student and I already did my undergrad and convocation 2 years ago. I finished my degree in April at that time and I got my degree there. I finished my degree in December and picked it up already. I know that they give you a folder for you to take a pic with after and then you give it back backstage and get your degree. Does anyone know how it works when you finished early? Do you get a folder still or should I bring my folder for my degree so I can take pictures and all that? If anyone knows pls let me know, thank you
