Random Theory: Elliot isn’t always wearing his iconic black hoodie as much as the show shows he is

Now this isn’t confirmed just my thoughts but we always for the most part see Elliot wear his black zip-up hoodie. in Season 3 Episode 8 we see Elliot try to get rid of the Mr. Robot jacket but he can’t. It’s possible sometimes wearing the jacket can trigger Mr. Robot to take over. With this idea I started to think what scenes is Elliot wearing the Mr. Robot jacket and what scenes is he just wearing the black jacket? I believe there’s a chance in 404 not found Elliot is actually wearing layers, it’s incredibly cold and we see Mr. Robot adorning layers so why wouldn’t Elliot be wearing them? Just my thoughts sorry if this is jumbled up.
