My humble collection

My humble collection

Decided to hop on the trend after seeing others post their devices xD before I get roasted, this is the result of accumulating handhelds over the span of 15 years (basically since I was in high school).

I’m actually thinking about selling some of the redundant ones due to newer hardware from the past couple years. The DSi and the majora’s mask SP I’m probably never gonna sell, those 2 have always been my favorites. Stuff like the Switch 1, 2DS XL, Anbernic RG405M, could probably go. Maybe the silver GBA SP as well? But it could be a collector’s item in the future, has no mods or anything, all original.

Anyway, here’s the list;

- Steam deck OLED
- Switch 2
- Switch 1
- AYN Thor
- Analogue Pocket
- 3DS
- DSi
- 2DS XL
- Miyoo Mini
- PSP slim
- Anbernic RG405M
- GBA SP x3

AYN Thor Batch 2 - 3.5 months update

Ordered the Pro version (batch 2) back in January and took about 5 weeks to deliver; 3.5 months later I gotta say this is the best handheld I’ve had the pleasure of owning considering how many I own and have owned in the past. Already sold a few other ones that started collecting dust after getting this xD

The build quality is also pretty great and easily withstands all my heavy button mashing on certain games. It’s handled everything I’ve thrown at it so far, even the game streaming from other game systems is pretty stable/consistent. All the major Switch titles and even some PS3/XBOX360 games run surprisingly smooth with very little changes to the software buildouts. The HD texture packs on old games add a whole new appreciation for the classics. Seems like certain games were just made for an AMOLED screen panel this size, makes the emulation experience way better.

Some games like different GPU drivers so that was something new to me, probably cause more shaders are used for certain environments than others. Other than that plus a few game crashes here and there, I’ve got no complaints. Would highly recommended anyone on the fence, doesn’t require crazy technical knowledge to setup, just need some interest in software installation with android firmware.

With that being said, anyone have any cool tips/tricks that you discovered that weren’t maybe listed online before? or certain enhancements/settings that made using the device a better experience for you? Thanks in advance!
