If curses actually tasted delicious, would Suguru Geto still have turned evil?

If cursed spirits tasted like A5 Wagyu or a Double Cheeseburger.

That's right, it is just like that.

[LOTM] If the characters from LOTM were just ordinary people, who would you want to befriend?

Suppose the world of Lord of Mysteries was a normal world without any supernatural powers. All the original characters exist, they lack superpowers, and they hold more mundane occupations—but their personalities and behavioral styles remain unchanged.

Under these circumstances, who would you most want to have as a friend?

They are not criminals and have never committed a crime (at least not yet).
(If you like, you can assume they are criminals or terrorists and then befriend them)

(This includes Angels like Adam or Amon, True Gods like Leodero, and even like the CW/PGA/OC. As long as they are a character, there are no restrictions.)

[LOTM] Do you wish for Beyonder characteristics, potion formulas, and Sefirot to descend upon our Earth?

Let's assume the aforementioned items descend upon our Earth randomly and evenly, including all known pathways and Sefirot.
Everyone starts at the same starting line, there are no existing gods or Beyonders now whether on Earth or in the universe.
You are free to try to find, purchase, or snatch Beyonder characteristics, and attempt to brew and consume potions yourself to achieve promotion.
If you are powerful enough, you can even try to find and accommodate Sefirot on Earth.

Advantages:
If you reach a high sequence, you will easily achieve upward social mobility and become part of the upper class.
The advantage is that, since there are no existing Outer Deities or Great Old Ones in the initial state, the cosmic background is relatively pure, and you don't have to worry about pollution.
As long as a common person at the bottom is bold but cautious and has enough luck, they have a full chance to become a true god by hunting transcendent creatures or searching for materials.
Moreover, many pathways (such as Savant and Planter) can significantly improve the productivity of human society, causing leaps in human technology or solving famines.

Disadvantages:
The disadvantage occurs several years later. In the beginning, everyone is on the same starting line, but a gap will emerge sooner or later.
The government is likely teeming with individuals from the Lawyer pathway Arbiter pathway and the Spectator pathway.
When someone becomes a Sequence 5 or even a Sequence 4, conventional weapons may become ineffective, and the existing social order will be unable to restrain them. One person becomes an army.
If an ambitious person gains the power of the "Lawyer" or "Arbiter" pathways, existing democracy and the rule of law will rapidly evolve into a Beyonder dictatorship. Furthermore, hunting humans to obtain characteristics will become the norm.

In the very beginning, it might be a golden age where everyone can become a god, because everyone is striving to become stronger from the same starting line, without the pressure of Outer Deities or the oppression of existing churches.
However, when the first batch of high-sequence powerhouses is born, their every word and deed, or even their honorific names, will begin to generate new pollution. These first individuals to become high-sequence powerhouses will begin to design a new world order.
Due to the absolute suppression of high sequences over low sequences, the world will eventually converge under the rule of a few or even a single True God.

Do you want the Earth to undergo these changes?
Do you think you would have a better life on a changed Earth?

A Chinese emperor obsessed with Taoism.

The Jiajing Emperor (September 16, 1507 – January 23, 1567), personal name Zhu Houcong, was an emperor of the Ming dynasty.

The Jiajing Emperor was a devout follower of Taoism. Not only did he practice the religion himself, but he also demanded that all his officials honor it as well. Obsessed with Taoist alchemy and elixirs, he dispatched people across the empire to collect lingzhi (reishi mushrooms) and frequently consumed pills concocted by Taoist priests.

He bestowed upon himself numerous Taoist titles, the longest of which include the following⬇️

If you could travel to a world of cultivation, and at midnight every day you had the choice to return to Earth with your current power level (knowing that once you return, you can never go back), would you enter that world? If so, at what level of cultivation would you choose to return?

https://preview.redd.it/5op1thyr8o0h1.png?width=859&format=png&auto=webp&s=797873a5b4ee0642740a8ba8d495f973530ab386

Your talent is above average, no cheat or overpowered systems, but you are guaranteed not to be a talentless loser.

It is a randomly generated world of cultivation, using common cultivation worldviews, but there are no characters or plots that you can know in advance.

You are also guaranteed entry into a cultivation sect, whether it be righteous or demonic is up to you.

The catch is that you only have the chance to return to Earth once a day at midnight. You cannot choose to return while in the middle of a life-or-death battle.

It is essentially a gambler's dilemma of knowing when to quit while you're ahead.

If your cultivation isn't strong enough, your life-risking journey will only make you a slightly stronger and longer-lived ordinary person back on Earth.

However, if you want to reach higher realms before returning, you must risk your life seeking opportunities for breakthroughs and fighting other cultivators, which causes your risk of death to skyrocket.

If you back earth, you will retain your original power, but you will not be able to increase it further.

If so, at what level of cultivation would you choose to return?
