Doctor Yellow special edition has been announce alongside a reproduction. Comes with the Thank You logo on the windows as well as in a special sleeve.
Price increases resulting from the recent naphtha supply issues sadly continue. Would love to get that E653 in 583 Series livery and Odakyu 1000 in Allegra livery but hard to justify with those base prices.

I am truly blessed to have such amazing friends that support my admittedly pretty expensive hobby and then some. Here are the gifts (the model trains part, at least) they got me for my birthday!
The first and second train sets have HKTILC lighting pre-installed by the store I purchased them from. I plan on installing DENSHA.me lights into the last set when I have those in my possession.

Announced by JR West today. Doctor Yellow will be retiring in January 2027 and the 500 Series will be pulled from service that same month with its retirement set for July 2027.
I recently installed the DENSHA.me dedicated lighting kits for my Romancecar 70000 GSE and 50000 VSE so I decided to put them out together for their inaugural run! While installing the lighting I also filled both trains with 1/200 miniature seated passengers. Here they are waiting at the station on my layout.

Big fan of the Odakyu Romancecar lineup, maybe second only to the Kintetsu limited express trains. I hope to get all of them one day including the somewhat elusive 20000 RSE.

The GSE and VSE have dedicated interior lighting from DENSHA.me; I haven't put any into the LSE or NSE because they are kind of annoying to install. Maybe some day I will do it.
