Fun with fairies

Today's offering includes two fairy pictures from the Creative Haven Magical Fairies coloring book by Marjorie Sarnat.

While it was lovely to color both of these images, as I started looking more at the second one with the owl on the right side, the fairy woman began looking stranger to me. I then realized it was the proportions of her neck. What's going on there?

Well, it still looks delightful. I hope you all enjoy!

Steampunk & clockwork butterflys

Playing with colors. She was fun to stylize. The edges and butterflies were their own thing, but it works :)

Blue moon fairy

I was playing a little with skin color to be Other. It's not bad but some of the shadowing didn't do what I was hoping. Still, fun page to color.

Right now I have my primary partner, a new person I'm dating, and a fwb/comet relationship. Having 3 relationships at once is new for me, so I'm managing that change.

Lately I have felt both blessed and overwhelmed by the "I love you"s and the desires and expressions of each of these people to be with me just to be near me.

Idk if it's like a form of imposter syndrome (i.e, why do they all want to be with me?), or if it's perimenopause-heightened anxiety. I want to feel happy and fulfilled to be given and trusted with such love, but the overwhelmed anxiety is there too.

Anyone go through feelings like these?
