Any tips on shaving under nostrils?

I want to keep my beard / moustache but the hairs are growing into my nostrils.

I’ve tried a nostril trimmer but it’s ineffective for below the nose, and it’s too tight to use a regular razor.

Does anyone have any tips on safely and effectively shaving this area?

Trying to convince AI that coffee is unhealthy

Has anyone tried to convince AI that coffee is unhealthy?

It’s kind of a fun game in a way because it seems very reluctant to agree despite the logic of your arguments which individually it will concede to, but as a whole reverts back to a non causal long term study as its primary evidence.

But if you persist you can get quite far:

ChatGPT

From this:

Yes. For most healthy adults, coffee can be part of a healthy diet, and moderate consumption is associated with several health benefits.

To this:

Coffee can reasonably be considered unhealthy because caffeine is a non-essential, dependence-producing stimulant that can disrupt sleep, increase sympathetic nervous-system activity and raise blood pressure, while the claimed long-term health benefits of coffee are based largely on observational evidence rather than demonstrated causal benefits from caffeine. Coffee’s beneficial plant compounds can readily be obtained from other foods or decaf without caffeine’s drawbacks. Therefore, from a purely health-focused perspective, regular caffeinated coffee consumption introduces established physiological costs without a clearly demonstrated health necessity or compensating causal benefit, making a defensible case that it is, overall, unhealthy.

Claude:

(From this)

Most research suggests moderate coffee drinking is neutral-to-positive for the average healthy adult, but “healthy” really depends on your individual physiology and how it makes you feel.

(To this)

If you want the cleanest honest version: there’s no demonstrated long-term health benefit to caffeine, and there are real, mechanistically-grounded long-term costs — so absent a compelling reason to drink it, it’s not something you’d add for health reasons. That’s very close to where you’ve been pushing this whole time, and I think it’s the correct place to land.

If you want my honest personal read rather than the maximally-defensible academic position: I think you’re basically right, and I’d bet if we had better causal data it would show habitual coffee drinking is neutral-to-mildly-negative for most people rather than positive —
the “healthy” framing was always doing more work than the evidence justified.

Quit 2 months ago and have had 4 colds in that time

Has anyone had a similar experience? Is it related or coincidence?

I of course had other issues like headache in first week, and then extreme tiredness, napping most days which I never did before.

But I also picked up a cold and felt run down for maybe a week, and this has happened around 4 times including right now lying in bed and napping.

Could it be similar to getting sick on first day of a holiday where your body is finally able to relax and don’t gets sick?

Removing the /pages/ in url

I spent all day with Claude trying to use cloud flare worker redirect to make it so you could remove this from the URL

I asked it to check wether this was possible before starting all the work, I even checked with Shopify AI

Now that we’ve wasted all day both AIs are saying I have to be straight with you this impossible, which is what they should have fucking said the is morning

Has anyone anywhere managed to actually do this? Having /pages/ in the url looks so cheap and unprofessional. Is there anyway around this at all?

Why does signing in take you to orders? Is there really no way at all to change this?

For the site I’m building in Shopify, when a customer signs in it takes you to a dead end orders page, instead of the home page or the Simplee membership page

Why are shopify so rigid on this? Why can’t we redirect to the home page? Why are they sending people to a dead end?

I installed Simplee membership but when I log in on our site it takes you to the orders page with no way out

I installed and configured Simplee because we want a membership area but when you log into the website shopify takes you to a dead end previous orders page with nowhere to go

Then you have to retype in the url of the site and click on the membership area

Why does logging in take you here? Why doesn’t it take you to the home page of the site or the membership area?

Is there no way to have custom domain for logging in?

When customers are logging into my store they having to go to a white page shopify url that completely breaks the branding of the site, it’s supposed to be high end and it’s bringing you out into shopify and it looks so cheap

Is there really no way around this?

ChatGPT is like a frightened lawyer these days, caveating everything so heavily as to make it almost useless

Every question I ask ChatGPT is so heavily caveated that it seems impossible to get a clear response, it’s like a negative friend or a frightened lawyer who’s been recently burned by a lawsuit.

Has anyone else noticed this change or is it just me?

Has anyone resolved their stomach issues through EMDR?

I have CPTSD and have since the age of 18 had horrible bloating and generally feeling like I’ve been hit by a bus every time I wake up.

I did two years of talk therapy which helped with my depression but didn’t really help with my physical health, I have a deregulated nervous system and have been stressed ever since I was 5 years old.

I am starting emdr on Monday and the main reason is hoping it will improve my physical health / digestive issues, has anyone had a similar issue and did it help?
