Took a few tries at league but he finally took a 1-2-4-10 split

Lanes were awful at league on Monday and my partner got this split a few times as the ball was moving weak. Kept missing a pin each time but He took out the mighty ebonite fireball that tends to flip fast and put some power on it to make it push perfectly toward the left.

Got My second Strike Ball plugged and drilled today and Love it!

Got this barely used 14lb Arctic Vibe for free from a family member plugged and drilled by my PSO for $40 total - pretty sure that’s a steal. My first strike ball was a 13lb tropical surge and I have a 13 lb t-zone exclusively for spares. This baby hooks so easily and smoothly that I got a turkey on my first game and consistently played well while not needing to go around the ball to strike. Think I’m going to have a blast with this ball during the end of summer league. (One handed righty with thumb, down and in style).

Ophthalmology PACS

Anyone else work in ophthalmology PACS? It’s been 2 years and quite an experience since all imaging is done in the doctors clinic and scans have to be ready to view in the exam room within minutes most of the time.. Just looking for others in the same boat since most people are in Radiology.
If so, what systems do you use and how do you prioritize the workload while working under pressure from many directions ?

Down and in style- tips and next ball ?

After a long time of straight angle shooting from the right side of the lane (1 handed righty, thumb in), I finally started adding some hook and I’m loving the results. I’m doing a down and in style going over the second arrow, and started hitting the pocket fairly consistently (to say I’m relieved it’s finally happening is an understatement). The refs are low but the ball is hooking where it needs to when I throw it well.
Right now I’m still using my first ever ball as a strike ball- a trusty Storm tropical surge 13 lbs (female bowler). It’s doing its job but I’m wondering if a stronger ball would be smart to add to my arsenal. I will say I was gifted a 14lb arctic vibe but I would need to get it plugged and redrilled- is that worth giving a shot or does anyone have other recommendations or tips?

I see Liz Johnson and norm duke as the forms I would like to continue to strive toward emulating. I noticed A LOT of the female bowlers use wrist braces and positioners- thoughts on adding that as well? I do feel some forearm soreness when I bowl for a long time from trying to stay behind/cup the ball more. I don’t want to have a crutch but if something will add an edge and more consistency, I have no problem giving it a try and sticking with what works.
Thanks in advance for reading all of this and any relevant advice is welcomed :)

TLDR I started getting a consistent down and in style that’s hitting the pocket and striking with a 13lb tropical surge. Recos for my Next ball? Should I use a wrist positioner? All tips appreciated.

New PR 208 - slow start, strong finish

My second game ever over 200, with a New PR. Think this is my most strikes in a row too. Next game, I got brought back down to mid 100’s but it was a great feeling to hit over 200 again. Here’s to more on the horizon..
