Hi yall, my wife and I have been waiting for an appointment for a while for a I-130 appointment, we just last week contacted our state senator; our original appointment was canceled due to weather in January and we still haven’t heard back, we signed a lease and we’re moving across the country to Nevada, but we’re still gonna have access to the mailing address that we have currently, and it’s not an issue for us to travel back to the east coast for the appointment. We don’t know if at this point we should tell them that we changed the address since I’ve heard horror stories of people saying they changed the address and then it took even longer, especially now that we got a senator from our home state to help.. anyway, is it ok if we don’t change it and keep the address we have in file now, also, is it ok for us to use our out of state lease with both our names on it for more evidence?
Also is it ok for me to get a NV liscence for tax purposes and my wife keep her original license since she’s missing the papers for a new one now anyway? Will it look weird for me to show up to the appointment with an out of state liscence?
