Last Stand Shards

Are the shards you get from playing Last Stand, reflective of what one should expect if you buy shards? Other than buying enough shards to get a tank.

I appreciate they are free for grinding. But I'd be pretty bummed out if I was paying money for these.

Surge Protector For AC And Furnace - ICM517

I'm looking at a surge protector for my outdoor AC unit and indoor furnace. They are top of the line Bryant Evolution models, installed five years ago. I already have a Interrmatic IG2240-IMSK whole house surge protector installed in a separate control panel adjacent to my circuit breaker box. From what I understand this Intermatic is pretty top of the line. Is adding a outdoor surge protector (ICM 517) to my AC/Furnace redundant? My HVAC guy says if I want to go this route to use the ICM brand. What would you recommend? Thank you

Negotiate Driveway Cost

I got a quote of $3100 for a 840+ sf driveway. They remove the existing driveway. Add and compact the stone base....install a compacted 3" asphalt driveway and bevel the sides to 45 degrees. I spoke to my neighbors and found 3 who are interested. If we went in as a package of four, all in one cul-de-sac...same sized driveways. What do you think would be a realistic package price for 4 jobs all at the same location? Appreciate any comments.

Prior to my inguinal hernia surgery, my anesthesiologist gave me a cup of a liquid to drink that prevents nausea. Insurance says not covered. Billed $180 because I was not "admitted". My surgery was outpatient. Self administered drugs without being "admitted" are considered medications you can get from a pharmacy, at a cheaper price, that you can take yourself. Welcome to the US healthcare system. My advice, if you are given this option, have the doc administer the meds to you. Then it is not self administered.
