Should I get this???
Last week, I made a post asking about a CD player I found online. I was wondering if it was worth it to buy it. I have been convinced not to.
What do you think of this boombox? Should I get it?
Is it worth it to buy this CD player?
When I spend money on my CD setup, it is mostly on the CDs. The only player I own is a crappy portable one, which I use on trips and in the house. I am looking for a better player for inside the house. I have a 100 dollar budget, but also I have some specific requirements for the player, which makes the options very limited.
I don't know if anyone has this player, but if you do, is it worth buying?
It is a CD player designed to look like a record player. (That's not one of my requirements)
CD I Bought Today
Today, I was in the car for 12+ hours. On the way home, a couple of hours away from home, I stopped at a nearby Barnes & Noble that I have gotten CDs at previously. I got bought this:
CDs I'm packing for my trip
Every little while, my family and I take a drive to Massachusetts for a family thing. I am often in the back row of our three row Chevy SUV, and always bring CDs for the ride. I keep them in a small pocket in one of my several backpacks.
Here are the CDs I am packing for the trip tomorrow:
Kendrick Lamar \"good kid, m.A.A.d city\"
Sublime Acoustic: Bradley Nowell & Friends. This is not a real burnt CD, it is the actual design.
What do you think?
I think that "Save Me" should've been on "Ballads of the Broken" instead of "Self Medicated"
I like Jelly Roll's Rap and his Country. I like a majority of his music. One of Jelly Roll's most popular songs is his 2020 track Save Me, from his final rap album, Self Medicated. The 18 track album has 17 rap songs, and one Country song, Save Me.
I feel like a different rap song should be on that album instead of Save Me, because Self Medicated is a rap album. I think that one Country track should be on his 2021 album Ballads of the Broken, which does have some Rap on it, but is mainly a Country/Rock album. I feel like Save Me would fit better on that album.
