Best hairspray for teasing hair?
I love the big 80s goth teased hairstyles, but I have very long and thick hair, so often it doesn’t hold up too well. What’s the best hairspray for getting a giant bats nest with some real volume and longevity to it?

Hi everyone! I posted some months ago that I was moving back and gauging interest in potential goth/post-punk/etc nights. Well, I’m back in town now and just dipping my toes into getting stuff figured out. I felt the best way to start was with an online social group, so people can actually connect and meet each other, I can get an idea of how many people would actually be in attendance, and then I can start getting events set up. I have a few leads on venues, artists, and djs who may be interested, but it’s likely going to be a bit of a process. However, I’m excited to start meeting people in the meantime :)

E: Reddit doesn’t like me sending the link through messages, but if you search “Prescott Y’alternative Club” on fb it should come up.
The images are of the recipient’s tattoos. I drew them digitally, had them printed on edible paper, and applied them to the cake! There are some small gaps where I didn’t trim the paper correctly, and some of the drawings got a bit obscured by icing or trimming, but I’m still so proud of it and think it’s my best work so far! :)
I’m 30. Only lived on my own for a few years now after leaving my former partner. Yes, there have been lonely times, but overall, it’s been great! The freedom to decorate how I want, do what I want, not feel like someone is breathing down my neck or I’m constantly responsible for someone else’s feelings…all the pros of living alone people discuss are real.
For the last year or so, I was dating a man I genuinely thought was the one. I love him so much and I wanted a future with him. He’s also been divorced, and was quite adamant that he wouldn’t live with someone again, except “maybe” after retirement. I can’t really imagine living with someone again either, so I thought I was okay with this. But then I thought, do I really just want to spend one night a week with my person forever? What if I want to fall asleep holding him, wake up to him, more than that? What if one of us wants to move states; are we supposed to not only go to all the trouble of moving cross country, but also finding two separate places to live? How can I have a life partner, build a life together, if we don’t even really experience life together? I thought there was room to compromise. I suggested things we could do in the far future when we felt ready, like splitting a duplex, living next door to each other, separate houses on the same property.
He broke up with me a few months after we started dipping our toes into talk of the future. I’m crushed. It’s hard to not feel like I ruined it by wanting too much. I’m truly so happy in my own space. I don’t want to share it or compromise on my weird taste in interior design or ever feel like I have to walk on eggshells again. So why couldn’t I just be content with our one night a week and leave it at that? It was a damn good arrangement. But now I’m alone every night instead. Guess I don’t have to worry about giving up the animal skulls or the bat bedsheets anytime soon. 💔
