has anyone tried a kari me carrier or know anything about it? Are stretchy wraps like this recommended for older (9m) babes? Just want to make sure I’m using something safe and well rated, and I can’t find anything out there about these ones. thank you!
Has anyone successfully weaned off motion/buggy naps?
My 9m boy will only nap in a moving buggy - this has been going on for months now. He’ll occasionally contact nap which I’ll take as it means I can sit down! But I’m feeling physically broken and exhausted from having to push him round and round for hours every day to get him to nap. Our wake windows / timings seem fine and we use Huckleberry to track it all. We’re on two naps a day - usually an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon. It’s just getting so unsustainable and I’m also worried about what happens in the summer here when it’s too hot to be outside. I’ve tried a Rockit but he’s not fooled by it.
We feed to sleep every night and he is fairly easy to transfer to his cot once in a deep sleep. We usually have two or three wake ups a night for short feeds/comfort which is fine and working for us and he’s easy to transfer back afterwards once he’s back to sleep.
