I’m not sure how the reception for this one will go cause the Diamond Dog is a bit more on the odd side… he’s hoping it goes well! Oh, and I have a fanmade backstory for how the Diamond Dog came to be and how he was found by Jack. Let me know if you want that to be posted too!

Has a canine brain of almost-human level intelligence. For example, he can understand the English language and not just tone.

Is aware that he has opposable thumbs but isn’t quite sure how to use them, so he tends to hold things with his mouth. Also prefers to traverse on all fours.

He will sometimes stand on his hinds legs if it means reaching up to steal something he wants.

If you’ve seen the Vittel commercial, you’ll know that the Diamond Dog barks just like an actual dog.

He cannot speak, though.

Like most dogs, he enjoys head pats and scratches.

He also sheds far too much from his canine half and almost never stops wagging his tail.

*He really only takes direct orders from Jack, not as a pet, but as a companion who knows that Jack is the leader of the gang.

Anyone threatening him or the Dogs will be bitten. It’s not pretty.

*He has also gotten into Jack’s edibles by accident on more than one occasion.

A few people have asked for this, so I shall finally be posting it. ‘Bout damn time… keep in mind that this is only a small portion of a much larger amount of headcanons!

1. Schizophrenic w/ occasional episodes. Takes medication but often has to be reminded to.

2. One hell of a pianist. Loves playing, helps him keep his mind occupied.

3. Absolutely not allowed to drink unless supervised.

4. Actually has a roughly lightning bolt-shaped birthmark under the paint!

5. A night owl and sleeps like the dead in the morning. Definitely not a morning person.

6. Very gentlemanly and “poet”-esque, but can also be quite raunchy; Cracked Actor and Time are good examples of this.

7. Favorite flower is roses and favorite color is a range of dusty, reddish-pinks, as seen in the image above.

Okay, so this will be my first ever time drawing a dinosaur, specifically a Tianyulong, but I want to draw it where it looks like it’s jumping/reaching upward with an open mouth and I know NOTHING about dino anatomy, not to mention there aren’t really any references of that for obvious reasons. Any tips?

Mercury’s Greek equivalent is Hermes, the messenger of the gods. Being very fleet of foot, I’ve given him a lithe, tall, and fit build. Also, as a nod to Hermes, I’ve given him jewelry along his pointed ears that look like feathers.
He has no rings nor moons, but several craters which I’ve added in the form of subtle freckles across his skin. Mercury’s base color can have very subtle variations in hue such as blue, yellow, or indigo, as seen in the slightly different tints of his dark gray skin.
The ejecta rays (the lines that spider outwards from a crater) of Mercury are also visible on his skin, similar to that of our moon’s ejecta rays and craters.
His pale eyes and lack of pupils are to give him an alien and mysterious appearance, almost futuristic. It also serves to make it so you can’t quite tell where this mysterious man is looking. In addition, they make for good contrast against his overall dark color palette.
His chain necklace contains the alchemical symbol for Mercury: ☿

Venus

Venus’ Greek equivalent is Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love and Beauty. I’ve given her a wide, curvy body to portray the femininity she is supposed to represent.
Most photographs of Venus are deceptive, showing her surface as this fiery mix of oranges. In reality, she has a neutral scheme of swirling beiges, whites, and light oranges which I’ve transferred onto her skin. Also, her rocky terrain has been represented by the few moles and birthmarks I’ve placed in a few different spots.
Venus’ atmosphere is composed of very dense, persistent clouds. This is reflected in the length and thickness of her fluffy blonde hair. 
The much warmer eyes, eyelids, and lips refer back to Venus’ blazing appearance seen in most photos. 
Her simple but elegant outfit allows her skin to be on display, and the loop holding the belt around her middle together is the alchemical symbol for Venus, and also the symbol for “female”: ♀
