Ray kind of saved our bacon there from a complete embarrassment, but I still feel like it shouldn’t have been that hard. The lack of cohesion on the pitch still continues to be a major concern, but, uh, we didn’t lose, yay!

We're facing off against a national squad on July 25th, a Saturday match, woot! I like it, I like it. Now I need to take a look at T&T, see how they are.

Welp, it’s a point. Guess we’ll take it over nothing, but the overall uninspired play leaves a lot to be desired. We need to figure it out and quickly.

Ouch. That was…not great. What was worse was everything felt WRONG, and that’s not a feeling I’m used to. Something needs to change and fast.

My workplace is mostly made up of late-range Boomers and early GenXers. I’ve been asked what an Xennial is several times and the best I’ve come up with is:

“We combine the self-sufficiency and cynicism of GenX with the awareness and burnout of the Millenials.”

How do you explain our micro-generation to others?

We bounce back from a rough first half and come out with a fistful of goals and the win. Probably should have been 8-0, but I don’t particularly dislike Omaha, so this is okay.

Well, that was dire. Worse than losing, we just didn’t look ourselves. Sloppy in possession, not converting our chances, not going head to head with our opponent.

That is no bueno, and I hope we don’t slip further into this malaise.

Defensive lapses smacked us in the face, and the USOC is put to bed for another year. But we made some noise, did some things, and now on to the rest of the season!
