I’ve seen a lot of people posting about outpost building lately, so wanted to share a sneak peek of the big project I’ve been working on since last October, Modular Outposts: Neon.

Similar to my Argos mod this one will have a number of furnished and unfurnished outpost habs, themed buildable decor, and this time a whole collection of modular snapping external structure pieces you can use to build your own fishing rig style city on just about any planet.

It also adds a collection of fabricators and large lab spaces for chem manufacture, and allows for organic resource extractions when built over oceans.

I’ve been having fun building my test outposts with it, and looking forward to seeing what other people build with it when once it’s finally out.

I have a new mod out this weekend that adds buildable functional light fixtures for outposts, ships, and player homes.

These lights are designed to give off a soft accent light to brighten overly dark shadows, and accentuate particular areas without overwhelming your decorated spaces, or overpowering the existing in game lighting.

They can be turned on and off individually, or in the case of outposts wired to wall switches added by the mod and toggled on and off simultaneously.

Right now there are roughly 200 light fixtures added including…

* Wall lights
* Ceiling lights
* Street lights
* Desk lamps
* Floor Lamps
* Candles
* Ceiling fans
* Spotlights
* Ambient Light Markers

Plus several mini generators and 2 functional light switches that can be mounted on walls

Like Furnish Your Fleet, and Better Buildable Walls and Doors this is a mod I’ll be adding more to over time, and one I hope will be a big help to my fellow base builders out there in the Starfield.
