Underactive thyroid

Underactive thyroid

Just sharing incase anyone finds intresting. I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid in April and I didn’t think it was effecting my cycle as I had regular periods. I did notice my pdg was always around 5 maybe going up to 10 sometimes. I’m now on thyroid medication and the difference it has made! this is our 9 month ttc first month on the right dose of medication so hopeful we see a BFP soon ❤️

Underactive thyroid and ttc

we have been trying for a baby since November and I was diagnosed in April with having subclinical hypothyroidism. My TSH levels had gone from 1.88 in November to 6 in April. Due to a misdiagnosis we had been referred to the fertility clinic in April where they did my bloods, due to a kidney condition I had another blood test 2 weeks later and my TSH levels were 5.8. I am just confused how they changed so much. the fertility clinic have prescribed 25mg levothroxyine and think I should be able to have a baby after my levels are under 2.5 but I was just wanting to hear if this has happened with other people and whether they were able to once it was stabilised. thanks so much

Feeling worried

me (32) and my husband (30) have been trying to conceive for 7 months. We had a bit of a rollercoaster where I was misdiagnosed with adenmyosis and fluid on my tubes. Further scans have shown I don’t have these conditions but a recent blood test has shown my TSH level has risen from 1.88 to 6 in 6 months so they put me on some low dose medication. My husband SA was good apart from morphology was 5%. I read mixed things where it says this isn’t an issue or other ones where it says it can delay. the statistics scare me as well when they 80 percent conceive by 6 months makes me feel worried.
