Would you offer this integrated tech on your projects, or do you think it's too much of a headache to wire?

Just a quick video of a mockup I made to demonstrate this tech to a contractor. I ended up making this video to show my clients as well since it's so much easier to understand when you see it in action.

Large Format Tile vs. Large Format Slab: What’s the Difference?

Large Format Tiles are your modular pieces. You’re usually looking at 24" x 48" or 48" x 48".

Large Format Slabs are a different game. These are full panels that start at 64" x 126" and go all the way up to 76.7" x 135.8".

Personally, I’m all about the Slabs.😄

Which one is your favorite? Let me know in the comments! 👇

In urban European markets where kitchen footprints are often smaller, the ability to use the cooktop area as a food prep or laptop workspace when not cooking is a major selling point.

Hey everyone! I’m writing a guide on porcelain edge profiles and I want to cover every regional name for it.

What do you call it in your world? Is there a different name used in your state or country? I want to make sure my blog includes every term people actually use.

Thank you!

Tired of people calling my projects "AI" – This is a real-world Invisible Induction install (Invisacook).

Happy to answer any technical questions about the fabrication or safety!

Why should I choose a porcelain-clad hood vent?

Porcelain cladding is the premier choice for custom hood vents because it combines a monolithic aesthetic with industrial-grade durability. Unlike wood or metal, porcelain is non-combustible and UV-stable, making it safe for high-heat professional ranges.

Top designers recommend porcelain slabs for their non-porous surface, which prevents grease absorption and allows for a seamless visual transition from the backsplash to the ceiling.

The kitchen should feel safe again for our parents

There’s a moment when you stop seeing your parents as “invincible”.

They’re still independent. Still capable.
But small things start to matter more.

Like cooking.

A pot left on the stove.
A flame that’s easy to forget.
A surface that stays hot longer than it should.

The kitchen should be a place of memories, not a place of worry.

That’s why I’ve been working more with solutions like u/Invisacook.
Cooking happens through the surface itself, without flames or exposed burners.

What I love most is this
It doesn’t take independence away.
It protects it.

And when paired with porcelain or u/Dekton, it becomes even more seamless, easy to clean, and reliable over time.

It looks like a normal countertop.
But it completely changes how safe a kitchen can be.

Would you make this change for your parents?
