Need suggestion
Cat (Indian female cat), 2 years old, 3.5 kg, vaccinated and recently spayed. Since spay surgery on 2nd May 2026, she has had repeated post-operative complications including abdominal wound leakage and multiple re-stitch surgeries (latest on 16th May). Initially clear/yellow fluid leakage occurred, now there is darker reddish-brown discharge with foul smell from dressing and vet suspects wound infection. Cat also repeatedly sits/sleeps in litter box causing possible contamination. Current symptoms include wound discharge soaking dressing, foul smell, lethargy, occasional shivering/trembling, jerky waking/startling episodes, mild fever previously (103.3°F), reduced appetite at times, and discomfort. Need urgent second opinion regarding wound infection vs deeper complication, treatment approach, and healing prognosis.
