Fresh Delivery

Had around 44 cord of hardwood delivered between yesterday and today, mostly maple. I run about 10 cord a year through my OWB, so I'll be good for a few years now. Northern Upper Peninsula of MI

It's time to light up a cigar and fire up my 555.

Racquet Rec, New High School Player

Hey all!

Old dad here, never played tennis, with a freshman daughter who just joined the tennis team.

She's currently using an old racquet of her mother's and I'd like to get her a new one. 4-1/4" grip size.

I'm new to reddit so maybe not great at searching, but it seems like the Head Ti.S6 is highly recommended.

I was also looking at the Babolat Boost Aero.

But then I saw this Head Graphene 360 Extreme MP on clearance for not much more money than the Boost Aero. But I have no idea which strings or tension to select at checkout:

I will add that we live in the middle of nowhere Upper Michigan and the nearest proper tennis store is three hours away, so I'm looking to order online.

Then I see the Head Graphene Speed and Radical XTs being recommended, but there's also an S version of each of those with a slightly larger head? why are there so many options??

I think what I'm looking for is something beginner-friendly but nice enough that she can grow with it and won't need a new racquet every year.

if it matters, she's on the smaller side. 5'5", 125lbs, fairly athletic.

Any and all advice is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
