I originally watched season 1 as it aired on HBO, and now I'm rewatching it with a friend of mine who's never seen it before. We just got through with episode 4 and her attitude so far is "yeah, it's a pretty good show", she's not overwhelmed like I remember being.
But it got me thinking: maybe I was thinking the same way through episode 4 and didn't realize it's excellence until later?
When did you all recognize that it was great?
This month marks my 44 year anniversary in the United MileagePlus program (June 1982). My dad signed me up as a kid touting it as a brand new idea: "If you get enough miles, they'll let you fly for free sometimes".

But my "Lifetime Flight Miles" stands at only 310,000 miles total. It got me thinking: this ratio has to be worst around?
