Need advice on red banana leaf plant

So i have 2 red banana leaf plants. I was pruning some leaves off of them today bc they were looking a little rough and I am looking more for height than width so im trying to promote that, been pruning a couple leaves every like week and a half. We'll i had a big fungus gnat problem after having them out during the super rainy season, so when I took them inside it was ridiculous, especially bc the first couple leaves I pruned I pruned incorrectly and they rotted :/. Well I let them dry out a lot and then used neem oil when I watered them and wiped the leaves, its been about a week and a half-two weeks since I watered them and the fungus gnat problem is essentially solved, I have only seen a couple. The plants are still okay and the soul is somewhat moist a couple inches down so im leaving it until its drier and then going to use the neem oil again.

Anyways when I went to check them out I noticed so many dead gnats in the inside of the leaves by the stems so I kinda freaked and wiped them down with a wet paper towel with rubbing alcohol and try to get as many out as I can. I really dont want more rotting stuff attracting gnats 😭 so I decided to pruned another leaf that was browinging a bit bv it has so many in it, I was going to leave it until next week so I wouldn't stress my olant out. And i royally fucked up the cut so now im having anxiety about it. But now Im wondering if I should water it so that it doesnt freak out from over pruning and the fucked up cut. I am still very new and very not great with plants but I love these plants and I want them to thrive. Any advice is totally welcome!!!

Does this dog bite look infected?

I got bit 8 days ago. I was on a week of amoxicyllin and washing and using a prescribed antibiotic ointment 2 times daily and covering it with sterile wrapping. The bruising has gotten significantly better but the puncture itself has been looking a little iffy and has started draining small amounts of brownish yellow pus. I am utd on tentnis and it is a known dog so rabies isnt a concern but I iust want to know if I should go back to urgent care or just keep doing what im doing. This happened at work so it would be a workmans comp situation which they can be kinda eh about anything extra. I have a follow up in 4 days, should I just wait? First pic is this morning second pic is about an hour after it happened
