Trying to Match A Crib With Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn

Hello Everyone! I'd love some help if anyone possibly has any info on this particular yarn I'm looking at.

I'm trying to match a sage green crib with the same colour yarn, Cotton worsted weight. On the Michael's site their stock photo for the small skeins of Loops and Threads Classic Cotton in Olive Garden looks like an exact match. Then when I went to look at their larger jumbo skeins - same brand/colour, it looks much darker! Can who has this yarn tell me which photo is true to the colour in person? Need a soft muted sage! TIA!

Yummy Protein Snack For Coffee Lovers!

Hey everyone! Hope you're staying cool this summer! It's been steamy in my neck of the woods 🙄

I created a yummy protein snack as an alternative to the usual fruit based or chocolate smoothie type. I thought I'd share it with you fellow Zeppers who still need their caffeine kick once in a while! Some people have said they stopped drinking coffee, but my daily caffeine dose hasn't changed. I typically drink 1 to 2 cups a day still.

Anyway, was playing with making iced protein latte with my all-in-one Organika whey protein isolate powder. It helps hit a bunch of nutritional goals - protein, collagen and fiber.

So far, I have made caramel, butter pecan and hazelnut latte's. I still want to try with cocoa powder - not sure if it would froth properly in the milk yet though. I added the meal along with the instructions to make it to MyFitnessPal. I'm adding screenshots for those of you who don't use MFP. Enjoy!

Omg Love my Luxe Café Pro!

Hello all, I'm new here! Wanted to share and have an obscure question. Got my machine a few days ago. So far, tested espresso, hot coffee and cold brew. Everything is amazing so far!

I come from a really low end dual purpose DeLonghi COM532. That worked ok, until it didn't. The pressure in the group head conked out pretty quickly, spraying water everywhere and no pressure for espresso. I lost love for it pretty quick! I have my fingers crossed that I don't have a new lemon on my hands!

I got my coffee scale yesterday, so going to test my espresso shot timing now to be sure I have my grind settings dialed in on these beans. So happy! 😁

My question - 3rd photo for reference:

Does anyone know if the front display panel comes with that really fine clear film on it? I got a brand new machine but it looks a little dull in a few areas at the top of the display surface and not as glossy as the rest of the area. I tried washing it with a damp cloth and drying with a soft towel, and it doesn't come off, so not dirty. I'm afraid to go picking at it and don't want to scratch the display if not necessary. TIA!

Don't Leave Home Without It!

I made a post yesterday of my weims partial collection of lamb chops, just for fun. I didn't include any photos of my weims, which I should have! I promised someone I would post photos of them bringing their stuffies all over the property, it's hilarious!

Anyway, enjoy and also, Happy Independence Day to all my American neighbors south of the border! 🥳🇺🇲

How are you all celebrating your goals/mini goals? 🥳

At the beginning of my journey, I set myself some smaller goals, and one modestly large one (before my ultimate goal is reached); a little to keep me on track and this larger one for fun!

This goal was to lose 55lbs by my 55th birthday! (Play on the freedom 55 thing lol) I had no idea honestly, if this was achievable at first, but thought it was a fun idea. For context, I started on January 3rd and weighed in at 231lbs that day.

My birthday is August 15th. I'm going to continue to work my butt off, and see if I can do this thing! This morning, I am 13lbs away from that goal, at 189lbs. I am going to want to celebrate this achievement a little! What have you guys all done?

And funny enough as it is, it felt so nice entering the 180's today! I went from Obese class III to Obese class I so far. I feel so much better already, and I'm still so far away from my maintenance goal weight but feeling so positive! Whoop whoop! 🥳

Designed my own table runner after being scammed for a fake pattern on Etsy

After discovering that I had been scammed for a fake pattern on Etsy, I decided to design my own runner, focusing on the circles in the center.

Turns out my daughter (who is renovating her dining room), loves it! I used a modified Willow square for the center and built a border around it. It isn't super duper fancy but suits my daughter's minimalist tastes!

I used Camilla Valley Farm's Mercerized 3/2 cotton in natural and a 3mm hook. I documented the entire process step by step and may turn it into a pattern. What do you all think?

Finally! My Turn To Reach OneDerland! 🥳

First of all, I'd like to express my gratitude for this sub and the other Zepbound sub, and all the wonderful support you amazing people share here. This truly keeps me motivated! So thank you! 🩷

My stats: 54F 5'2 HW: 243 SW: 231 CW: 197.8 GW: 120

I haven't been this number since 2014. So it sure is a nice feeling, considering all the ups and downs so far! I am still less than a 3rd of the way to my ultimate goal! It's a long journey, but at least it's not a torcherous one, like it has been in the past for me.

Here are a few NSV's I have experienced and one suprising side effect! First of all, I am 54F,  (soon to be freedom 55) and hadn't had a cycle in almost a year. 2 weeks ago brought me a full blown 10 day long one ugh! There have been many posts on the GLP-1 subs about surprise pregnancies, and this sure was an eye opener! After searching the subs, I saw so many comments of menopausal and post-meno women upwards of 60 yrs old reporting getting their cycles back - like ugh! I was so done with those shenanigans! 🤪

So a few small NSV's, 1st is I can now wear my wedding and anniversary rings woot woot! I didn't think I'd be able to wear them so soon, (they're size 5 and 6) but Zep sure has had a huge benefit of reducing inflammation and water retention for me. They're still a bit snug, but this time they're not coming off me until they loosely move around on my fingers. Yay!

- I can tie my shoes without painfully squishing my gut.

-I can actually see places on my body that I haven't been able to see in a long time without a mirror 🤣

- Arthritic, back and other joint pains are gone!

- Hot flashes and night sweats - gone!

- I can cross my legs, while seated on the floor 🧘‍♀️ - a position from which I can get down and back up from way easier now.

I've learned patience and to trust the process and to adopt a more positive mindset on the losses (edit - progress). Remember, even if the numbers seem small, celebrate your wins! That's still a lot of bananas! I wish you all the best on your continued journeys and I look forward to keeping motivated with you all!

Now, onwards and downwards! Happy Zepping all 🩷
