Seinfeld pointed out the obvious 30 years ago
youtube.comDid anyone else basically know this their whole life?
It was obvious to me as far back as age 12/13 that women did not sexually desire men in any significant way. They hated being asked for sex or viewed as sex objects, getting dick pics, and virtually all male strippers/prostitutes service gay men.
Even as a kid before I knew what sex was, I noticed how basically everything was set up (in dating and day-to-day life) for men to bend over backwards doing everything for women and getting nothing in return (men ask women out, propose, pay for everything, serve them first in restaurants, give up their seat for them, etc.)
I'd say my main "holy shit, this whole 'love' thing is a scam" moment was during the 2012 Batman shooting. I saw in the news examples of men taking a bullet for their gf/wife, and not a single example of a woman doing that for her husband/bf. Shortly thereafter I learned that more third class women survived the Titanic than first class men. That's right, being a woman (even back when they were "oppressed") was more beneficial than being a wealthy man.
It has blown my mind for the last 20 years or so that I was apparently the only one seeing this. It was like being the only kid in class who knew that Santa wasn't real, except these were adults.
Women did not develop compassion/empathy for men in general because it serves no evolutionary purpose
[Obviously male family members, close friends, etc. are a different story, but I'm referring to the average John Doe]
Throughout the vast majority of history, physical strength was by far the biggest key to survival. Obviously men have always had substantially more of this than women, but humanity can't exactly survive with men alone. Thus, it became vital to share resources with women and to keep them safe from other men, wild animals, natural disasters, etc. The societies in which men didn't do this would have died off rather quickly.
At this point, ask yourself: what purpose would it serve for women to sympathize with men? If anything, getting too attached to them in a world where men were out getting slaughtered by wild animals or other men would be a disadvantage, since women were largely unable to aid them in any tangible way and would instead cause themselves distress without any recourse.
This explains why men created an entire code of rules such as a male-only draft, saving women before themselves in hazardous situations (Titanic being the most iconic example), serving women first at restaurants, allowing women to assault them with impunity and walking on the dangerous side of the sidewalk. This concept has become known in modern gender debate circles as "male disposability" - quite an odd thing for an "oppressor" group to impose upon itself.
Now imagine if women were in charge, would they have done the inverse for men? You likely just burst out laughing, which proves my point. In fact, women in positions of authority (like mothers to their sons) condition boys to follow this male-initiated trend of servitude to women and girls to demand it from them. Also, consider how it's rationalized and even considered comedic when women assault men, including (and perhaps especially) castrating them.
It's likely not a coincidence that the most "chivalrous" societies are the ones in which feminism has made the most gains, even sometimes at men's expense, perhaps because compassion for women allowed these civilizations to develop more quickly. That is, however, simply conjecture.
The usual response is to point out that men rape/murder women dramatically more often than the reverse. However, considering that a relatively small percentage of men do so, the easiest way to conceptualize this is as a disability similar to blindness. These men are inherently morally defective (usually accompanying psychopathy/sociopathy in general, and aren't especially kind to other men either), which like many other defects is much more prevalent in men.
There's also the fact that said men wouldn't allow women to vote, hold public office, own property, etc. But this is a result of said men under the delusion that women were intellectually inferior, while they still cared about women's safety and survival. While nearly all men have progressed on this issue over the last century, their protectiveness has not budged, which indicates that this is a biologically ingrained behavior.
Mf even lost the Babylon Bee now 😝
Stephen Fry (who IS into men) pointed out the obvious back in 2010
https://www.theguardian.com/media/2010/oct/31/stephen-fry-sex-women-relationships-attitude
Broadcaster and writer Stephen Fry has tried to establish himself as an unlikely authority on female sexuality, claiming that straight women only go to bed with men "because sex is the price they are willing to pay for a relationship".
In uncharacteristically extreme comments [lol nah fam], the openly gay Twitter champion said he believed most straight men felt that "they disgust women" as they "find it difficult to believe that women are as interested in sex as they are".
"For good reason," he declares in a candid interview in the November issue of Attitude magazine. "If women liked sex as much as men, there would be straight cruising areas in the way there are gay cruising areas. Women would go and hang around in churchyards thinking: 'God, I've got to get my fucking rocks off', or they'd go to Hampstead Heath and meet strangers to shag behind a bush. It doesn't happen. Why? Because the only women you can have sex with like that wish to be paid for it."
Fry, 53, continues: "I feel sorry for straight men. The only reason women will have sex with them is that sex is the price they are willing to pay for a relationship with a man, which is what they want," he said. "Of course, a lot of women will deny this and say, 'Oh no, but I love sex, I love it!' But do they go around having it the way that gay men do?"
