Been using Arena Club for a month. Most expensive pack I’ve pulled is ruby($250) otherwise I usually am in the $25-$100 range.
Only put $804 of my own money in.. rest of it was profit from buybacks or sales.
With the value of cards in my collection vs $ spent I’d say I’ve made out pretty nicely.
Most expensive card I own is ‘59 Mays PSA 4 or Ohtani heritage Rookie.
But I’ve gone from 1 Slab to over 40.

Maybe it’s just me, but why even assign a price to a card if you have no inclination to sell. If you don’t like the offer someone sends then why not atleast counter? Then they can get an idea of what you value your card and can go from there. What’s the point of listing above any 3rd party evaluation and then just rejecting every offer. You have no intention of selling, you’re either trying to take advantage of someone or inflate your own trade value.
And it’s not hard to tell when someone is just lowballing you, but I literally send trades with “here’s what card ladder is valuing, I’ll offer full card ladder price please feel free to counter” and crickets.
And if all you’re going to say is “arena club is for pulling packs” your opinion is useless to this discussion..if that was the case they wouldn’t have a market, auction house or trades.
Silver pack says 100% rate and all the cards were well over $50
1959 is my favorite set, I have mays and mantle and as I get deeper in the hobby I will attempt to finish that set.
Being said i love the look of that year and would like to trade my heritage rookie ohtani in a 9 for the archives Ohtani in a 9

I send so many trade offers and even offers to buy cards above what the buy back is but nobody is active. I see accounts that haven’t had activity in 2 years..like man yall are hoarding slabs you don’t even want. Atleast sell them back so they’re not just dead and gone forever
Pretty much called them out on some pretty obvious mistakes regarding their own comparison chart, card hedge, price guide etc..told them i deserved a 50 dollar free slab in return for them dropping the ball. got not one, but TWO free $50 slab codes

I tell people this all the time man I get it if you just don’t wanna take on extra cards to sell because that time equals money or whatever but a lot of people are over valuing their cards. Pure speculation or BS and it’s crazy when I can literally show you pictures of last sales on eBay , Card Ladder value whatever site you want to use I’m showing you how much the card is worth and I’m just trying to add cards to my PC so I’m trading fair market value. It’s insane. Don’t want to sell my cards for Cash because if I’m gonna get cash, I’m just gonna cash out and take my money not put it back into this forsaken app lol

Tried courtyard today and felt the packs had more consistent value. The “chases” aren’t as big but they breakdown the odds by price and you have a much better shot of getting something that actually matches your value. Anyone else tried any other platforms?
