Like I get that there's some seriously awful and racist shit going on in the uk, but did you really want her to make some conscious song and avoid anything fun? I think American patriotism is a bit of a different matter. London and the uk are still an awesome place to visit btw

The song is Promises by Nero. It's an EDM-Dubstep song that is pretty decent but so out of place in the top spot of a pop chart (in the same summer that Mr. Saxobeat had a fucking chokehold on Europe while we Americans were mostly left unscathed). An unreleased song by Nero called "The Way You Make Me Feel" (not MJ) is awesome btw. First heard it in a Car Crash Compilation in like 2012 lmao
