Do you get earlier access to award stays as an IHG cardholder and/or by having status?
What I keep finding is earlier access to “promotional Reward Night discounts and special sales” but it sounds like this is not the same as an award stay?

I’m not sure if it comes across in photos but it is noticeably more red than the rest of my skin and up close has an almost fissured appearance. It is excessively dry/flaky regardless of what or how much skincare/moisturizer I use. It is never painful or itchy and never has bumps, papules, open lesions etc. It pretty much always looks exactly like this but sometimes (often) with more flaking.
I (38F) had an episode in April of severe central upper abdominal pain that felt like bloating and extreme pressure with pain radiating to my back and felt like it was squeezing my rib cage. This was my first time ever experiencing this. After about 8 hours with no improvement, I went to the ER. I had elevated liver enzymes. They did an ultrasound that showed gallstones with no signs of acute infection or inflammation and hepatic steatosis. My pain resolved with fluids and medication, and I was discharged home but recommended to see a surgeon outpatient.
I had a follow up MRCP that showed hepatic steatosis, cholelithiasis and adenomyomatosis of the gallbladder fundus. No biliary dilatation. No choledocholithiasis. I met with a surgeon who was very kind, he told me that the issues I was having were certainly caused by the gallbladder but, because it was only one episode, I could wait on surgery if I wanted, which is was I opted to do. I had been completely fine since then, but in the last ~10 days I have now had 3 similar episodes of the pain. I made an appointment to go back to see the surgeon with the understanding that I will likely need my gallbladder out now. I’m just very nervous and afraid of having surgery, and the potential consequences of not having a gallbladder anymore. I guess I am just looking for confirmation that gallbladder removal is the best course of action at this time? Or is there anything I can do to remedy the issue and prevent this from happening again in the future? And if removal is the best route, what happens if I end up with like chronic dumping syndrome? I’m so conflicted, appreciate anyone who takes the time to respond. Thank you.
