gng i need some help regarding applied maths

I passed 12th this year with 95.6%
English: 99
Economics: 98
Business Studies: 97
Accountancy: 98
Applied Mathematics: 86

Now as you can tell my applied math score is mid. I was sick during the exam week and i believe i couldve gotten a better score if i had been fully well.

My school recently announced a single subject improvement exam and this felt like my one last chance to get into my dream uni (after taking a gap year) with a full scholarship (97%+ get full ride) so someone pls help me with tips or anything.

The exam is on 28th july i have 22 days left.

Applied late to BBA (mid-May). realistically, do i have a shot or nah?

Hey guys,

Pretty much what the title says. Applied as an international student around May 17th for BBA (first pref). I know it’s deep into the rolling cycle so seats are probably tight, but wanted a quick reality check on my stats.

CBSE board, 95% overall. My main carrying subjects are 98 in English, and 98-97 in Eco, Accounts, and BST.

Only real catch is my math, got an 86 in Applied Math.

Do you think the 86 is gonna hurt my chances for a standard BBA track, or will the rest of the commerce scores carry it? Also, if anyone else applied this late in past cycles, around when did you actually hear back for interviews or decisions?

Appreciate any insight. Cheers.

USyd vs HKU for Undergrad Finance? (Aiming for Wealth Management/CFA)

Hey everyone,

I’m an international student from India trying to choose between two options for a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. My long-term goal is to become a Wealth Manager (doing the CFA) and eventually return home

Here are my choices:

  1. University of Sydney (Australia): Confirmed offer for Feb 2027 (3 years). Got a 20% scholarship (~AUD 45k/yr tuition).
  2. University of Hong Kong (HKU): Applied late for this Sept (4 years). No guaranteed offer yet. Grade 12 aggregate is 95%

funding either of these is going to wipe out a huge part of my parents' life savings (around ₹1.5 Crore+ total). my plan was to work hard, get a part-time job during uni to not be a burden, and then use the 2-year post-grad work visa to gain experience at a top firm and save enough to pay back a part of the fees. I care way more about practical networking, internships, and soft skills than just academics.

Which uni is actually better for practical learning, soft skills, and landing internships? I know USyd is Triple Crown and CFA affiliated, but HKU has crazy finance prestige too.

Any advice is welcome

be completely brutal, I need to make the right choice. thanks!

Late Applicant: CBSE 95% (98 Econ / 97 Accounts) Realistic admission/scholarship chances for BBA/BEcon?

Hey guys,

I'm a late international applicant submitting my form today (May 15) for the upcoming Sept intake.

My Stats:

  • CBSE Commerce: 95% overall aggregate
  • Breakdown: 98 Economics, 97 Accountancy, 97 Business Studies, 97 English, 86 Applied Mathematics.
  • IELTS: 7.5 Band

My Choices:

  1. BFin (AMPB)
  2. BBA (Finance Major)
  3. BEcon / BEcon&Fin

My Questions:

  1. Realistically, am I too late to get an offer for the standard BBA/BEcon tracks, or is there still rolling capacity?
  2. Given my 86 in Applied Math but near-perfect commerce scores, is there any remaining chance for a partial entrance scholarship (e.g., 25–50%) this late in the cycle?

Appreciate any honest insight from current international students!
