I recently moved and the hard water is absolutely destroying my hair and skin. My hair has been shedding way more than usual, feels dry/brittle and my skin has suddenly started breaking out too. I never really had these problems before moving so I’m starting to think the water might be the culprit.

Has anyone experienced this after moving here ? Would a shower filter actually help with this or are they mostly a gimmick ? If you use one and it actually made a difference, please tell me which brand/model you bought! Also open to any hair/skin products or other tricks that helped you deal with hard water.

At this point I’ll try anything because I would quite like to keep my hair on my head. Thank you!

Hi everyone! I’ll be moving to Windhoek for 6 months for work later this month and it’ll be my first time in Namibia! I would really appreciate any advice from locals or anyone who’s lived there. I’m especially looking for tips on :
