Stitchly 1 Month Update - First Paid user

Stitchly 1 Month Update - First Paid user

Launched Stitchly a month back on the 19th on Google Chrome Store . It's exactly a month so far it has accumulated 87 installs and 2 - 5 star reviews and today it made it's first sale!

More than the money I am happy that someone found the extension useful enough to buy the Pro version of it.

Zen Bird approved in less than 24 hours

Pretty amazed to see that my Chrome Plugin Zen Bird was approved on the Chrome Store for less than 24 hours of submission.

I just made sure I entered detailed explanation of why certain permissions are required. I think it is the most important part of the approval process.

BTW here is my extension. It is basically my attempt to fight the toxicity of X. Boy has it become so toxic lately!

Is X (Twitter) unusable for anyone else? We’re building ZenBird to use advanced AI to fix it

Zenbird.online

Who else is absolutely exhausted from scrolling through X (Twitter) and instantly feeling a mental health drain?

Let's be honest about the state of the platform today: Toxicity isn't just a bug; it's the core experience. The timeline that was once filled with fascinating discussion is now a systemic battlefield. We're talking coordinated harassment, bot-driven misinformation campaigns, targeted pile-ons, dog whistles, hate speech, and a ceaseless algorithm that promotes outrage and division because that’s what generates "engagement."

We all have our muted words and block lists. But it’s whack-a-mole. New coded slurs and evasive spellings evolve daily. Manual blocking requires constant, maddening effort. These are band-aids. They do nothing about the systemic contextual noise. You need a system that understands.

The reporting tools are often a joke, taking days to return a generic "no violation found" response to obvious harassment. We’ve all been there.

https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/acjpicnmfnhgadjihbhaloafjdmbepfo?utm_source=item-share-cb

This is the problem we are tackling with ZenBird . Our mission is simple: To reclaim your timeline and preserve good conversation by filtering the noise, the rage-bait, and the hate.

Introducing ZenBird: How Advanced AI Can Clean Your Timeline

We’re building ZenBird as a secure browser extension (starting with Chrome/Desktop, with Mobile Browser versions soon). It’s an AI-powered toxicity filter designed to do what manual blocking can’t. Our promo tile, designed as a 440x280 canvas, shows the ZenBird Pro logo and highlights three key features:

  • Filter Hate & Harassment (The hand icon with slash): This is our automatic, context-aware filter. It doesn’t just look for bad words; it analyzes intent.
  • Block Custom Keywords (The lock and cog icon): Gives you user-level control, augmenting the AI.
  • Llama 3.1 AI Analysis (The llama icon): This is the underlying advanced brain powering the entire operation.

How We Use AI for the Best Use

This isn't just a word-matching script. We’re deploying the fastest, most advanced Llama 3.1 8B AI model—the same one you might see high-cost cloud providers using, but built with custom contextual data to understand the unique toxicity of Twitter.

This is the "best" use of AI: it understands context. The AI can distinguish between:

  • A harmless joke.
  • A disguised insult or a dehumanizing metaphor.
  • Coded slang intended to target specific groups while bypassing simple filters.

We use a hybrid approach to ensure ZenBird is scalable and fast for millions of users:

  1. Local Dictionary Check: Our first layer is an extensive, local dictionary of over 800 common slurs and offensive terms (including symbols and evasive spellings). This catches the most obvious garbage instantly, locally, for free.
  2. Server-Side AI Processing: For the other 20%—the contextual and soft toxicity—the extension sends a quick batch of tweets to our secure backend proxy (hosted on a private VPS). Your secure API key is never exposed on the client side, ensuring your account is protected. The AI analyzes context and intent, returning a precise "Yes/No" verdict on toxicity for the entire batch.
  3. Viral Caching: We use global Redis caching on our server. If a viral tweet has been scanned by any ZenBird user before, the result is stored. This means we scan popular content only once per day, reducing API costs and making the extension feel incredibly light and fast for everyone.

This combination of local speed, context-aware AI, and a scalable, secure architecture is the definitive solution to a problem that X refuses to solve.

Merrily We Go - I watched a few youtube videos where they are confusing it with the merry go round.

But i think it is actually a reference to children's Rhyme - Row Row Row your boat

Row row row your boat.
Gently down the stream.
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily.
Life is but a dream.

In reference to From it means there is a stream (Lake of Tears).

You need to row your way out of this trap on your boat. Now the question is who's boat ?

That's boyd's boat.

Ultimately, "life is but a dream" serves as a gentle, philosophical reminder to stay present, enjoy the ride, and not let the heavy burdens of the world weigh you down.

Now that Jim has mentioned that the lake is real so the question is where is the lake ?

The lake is at the end of the tunnel infested by the monsters. This is why they reside in the caves to defend the tunnel incase someone tries to explore it and try to get out.

The ultimate villan is going to be the spider which gaurds the lake.

However there are few things which do not make sense.

  1. The light house by the lake ?

In real life there are no light houses by lakes they are always near a sea shore or an island. My theory here is that the lake connects to the sea. So they are not going to see a light house next to the lake but rather just the boat and once they cross the lake they see the light house by the sea and that's their landmark to escape the place.

  1. How is the spider connected to the curse ? May be there is a bigger entity which controls the spider or the whole place some how?

What do you guys think about this theory ?
