CB350RS is the bike I want. Meteor seems like the bike I should buy. Owners, what would you choose?
Hey guys,
I'm stuck between the Honda CB350RS and Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and would really appreciate some honest owner opinions.
I took test rides of both. The CB350RS felt more exciting, punchy and aggressive, and I really liked the exhaust note. I'm currently on a sports bike, so I'm already used to the sporty/aggressive riding style.
The Meteor 350, on the other hand, felt really comfortable and relaxed. I could easily see myself cruising around at 60–80 km/h on it.
**My** **situation**:
• Gurugram / Delhi-NCR
• \~1,500 km/month
• Mostly office commute + occasional weekend rides
• 2–3 proper trips a year
• Planning to keep the bike long term
**Quotes**:
• CB350RS: \~₹2.24L
• Meteor 350: \~₹2.42L (including 1-year extra warranty)
I'm leaning towards the Honda, but the thing holding me back is long-term ownership — service experience, parts availability, parts cost and finding good mechanics.
RE obviously has a much bigger service/parts ecosystem, which makes me wonder if I should sacrifice some riding enjoyment for easier ownership.
For those who've actually owned either bike, especially 30k/50k+ km owners:
• How has service/maintenance been?
• Any problems with parts availability or waiting times?
• Any recurring issues after a few years?
• CB350 owners: has the BigWing network actually been a problem?
• Meteor owners: is the better service/parts ecosystem really noticeable?
• If you've ridden/owned both, which would you pick for my usage?
Right now I'm probably 60:40 towards the CB350RS, but I'm worried I'll regret ignoring the RE service ecosystem later.
Am I overthinking this? 😅
P.S. I used GPT to help structure this post because apparently I'm overthinking a motorcycle purchase this much 😂
