Recess beverage affects

Question, for those who have been drinking Recess everyday for a long period, has it made you more tired during the day? I drank 2 cans at night to sleep better. It worked but I realized months into it I started to feel tired during the day. I stopped and was fine. Any similar experiences?

Is this true?

Had a periodontist tell me that dentist’s and dental specialists have long term disability but it is not offered to DA’s. He also told me that DA‘s body‘s breakdown faster because of the work we do.

Would you rather cut men’s or women’s hair?

Do you think men or women are more loyal to their hairstylist? Also, if you had to choose, would you rather do men’s haircuts all day or women’s? I actually prefer men’s.

Autoclave manipulation for weekly testing records

I recently posted about sanitation concerns as a new dental assistant at a private practice. The veteran dental assistant that usually operates the autoclave was at lunch, so I took it upon myself to sterilize instruments. There are two autoclaves in the sterilization area. I properly bagged the instruments on the perforated line, placed them in the autoclaves paper side up, one layer and proceeded to autoclave for 55 minutes. When she came back from lunch, she asked me why both autoclaves were running. I explained that the instruments didn’t all fit in one autoclave so I put them in both autoclaves. She seemed annoyed. She said that they are only using one autoclave. She also explained to me that she alternate the autoclaves per week. I have noticed that instruments that are bagged have been stuffed and stacked upon each other in one autoclave. Also, the bags are not being properly sealed before being put into the autoclave. my suspicion is that she is using the other autoclave that isn’t being used, for the weekly test because if she did a weekly test with that type of placement and improper bagging, the autoclave would not pass the weekly test. Just looking for some insight here, hoping that I am not having an overactive imagination.
