Passed C214-First try!

I’m honestly pretty shocked because I felt pretty confused during the exam. I wish I would’ve taken it a lot sooner😭 I definitely push this class due to anxiety, but it was really easy. I didn’t read the book at all… I simply watched the BootCamp video and took the POA once. Since I passed with exemplary I decided to schedule the OA right away!

My tip is to watch the Boot Camp video while completing the practice assessment. It’ll give you good direction and opportunity to practice the Excel problems.

I’m going to try and keep this momentum going and move onto the next class!!

I FINALLY PASSED C213!!

With total transparency, this class has kicked my butt. I had such a hard time grasping the concepts and life threw obstacles in my way. I ended up dragged out the class and felt dread over possibly failing a third time. I’m glad to say that I finally passed it on my third attempt!! This is not just a pass for me, so I’d like to share the good news!!! If anything this class has taught me not to be afraid of failure, or taking the OA three times or more.

Fraudulent Loan Requests & Stolen Refund!!!!

I received an email stating I would be reimbursed for my loan on June 10 although the amount seemed suspiciously high and I thought it was the payment for my second term though when I called today, they let me know that there was a revision request made last month.

Turns out someone hacked my account and requested the maximum amount of loans that I can take out. They put in their baking information, changed my personal email and my WGU email!!!! I am floored and exhausted at the same time.

I spent two hours between the police station, filing a fraudulent report and at my bank creating a new account. I’m afraid they will go after my account on file in financial aid next. Or maybe these fraudulent people have some sort of morale and will avoid it, but either way it’s gone and canceled. I’ve also spent hours today on the phone with WGU, Nelnet and Mohela.

WGU had me change Passwords and set up multi factor, authenticator steps and put in a fraudulent ticket asking me to wait for a call. Nelnet said I need to call Mohela because they no longer service my loans. MOHELA was of no help. I also noticed there were two corrections made on my FASFA application that were not done by me just this month and last month.

I’ve taken all the measures that I can think of, but I’m afraid I won’t get that money back and I will be stuck paying it. I originally requested enough money to cover tuition for two terms, which should be around 9K but whoever hacked my account requested a whopping 18K. And I won’t get to see any of it.

Have y’all seen any resolution?? What steps are you taking?

What does my handwriting say about me?

Here are some notes I took for school. I’m curious what you can tell about me through my handwriting.

I recently left a job I had been at for 3 years working evenings because I wanted a daytime schedule that aligned better with family dynamics and also wanted more career growth opportunities that aligned with my masters program goals.

I started a new healthcare position about a month ago, and honestly I’m struggling. The company is going through a major EMR transition, training feels disorganized, communication is poor, and I constantly feel underprepared. I’ve already been given a full workload very quickly despite still learning everything. Others began scheduling clients with me on my second week of work, almost as a way to diminish their workload.

A lot of the time when I ask questions, I either get delayed responses or get told “we already went over that,” but the training itself has been hard to follow due to lack of resources and support. Even basic things have been stressful, like not having building access set up properly or not getting responses from HR.

Some red flags that stood out to me early on:

-delayed or ignored responses when asking questions

-unclear workflows/processes

-lack of proper equipment/resources during training

-already being warned about difficult coworker dynamics and turnover in the role

-feeling isolated support-wise because I’m stationed away from where I trained

-and being told the program itself is only “safe until 2027”

I know every new job comes with stress, but this feels different. I’ve been overwhelmed at work already and constantly feel anxious and unsupported instead of challenged in a healthy way.

I’m already exploring other opportunities, but I’m struggling with guilt because I just started this role.

Has anyone else left a stable long-term job for growth and quickly realized the new environment might not be the right fit?

Edit: I also want to add that a recruiter reached out offering a job opportunity that paid 25k more through LinkedIn. Though, I had already accepted my current role and rejected the offer while leaving room for future consideration. I have also reached out recently in case they are willing to extend the opportunity given the availability of said position.
