Newbie looking at Explora Mediterranean

Retired dude with significant other still working so want to take a buddy and do a Mediterranean cruise. We are both slightly introverted but love history. Everything looks good so far with most boxes checked (price okay, small size, mostly adults, no loud music/casino). Am I missing anything?

Not sure what is wrong with me

Or maybe right with me? I am retired 12 months after a long career that was all encompassing. Music and Rush junkie but stopped seeing shows decades ago with career, kids, etc. I recently saw Rush in Ft. Worth with a college buddy and loved the show so much that I am flying solo to see them in Cleveland in September. My girlfriend thinks I am crazy but I'm so pumped!

I love London, brief summary of trip

Just got back from 6 days in London, ending Monday May 25th. The natives are so nice, like crazy friendly and helpful. Stayed at Claremont Charing Cross for central location and very close to 2 tube stations as well as river boats. Did a tour of Big Ben (tough to get tickets but wow!), Westminster Abbey, Churchill War rooms, Tower of London/Tower Bridge, National Gallery. Day trip with guide to Windsor Castle and Hampton Ct Palace via Tours By Locals (guide was Marcus H. who was a history teacher), British museum with an "Out of hours Tour". Did 2 walking tours with London Walks. Food was awesome, including fish and chips at The Laughing Halibut and Blaylock Sunday roast. The above pic was taken at Skygarden. Tremendous gratitude to this forum for advice. Cheers!

Duck and Waffle lunch dress attire

Having an amazing time in London (no tube strikes, yay!). Quick question: we are going to Tower of London tomorrow am and the weather is going to be warm/hot. I have lunch reservations at Duck and Waffle and would like to wear very nice shorts, nice collared shirt and new trainers. Is this acceptable?

London travel advice, traveling during 2 scheduled Tube strikes.

London travel advice, traveling during 2 scheduled Tube strikes. I fly in Tuesday just after the strike starts and I assume my plan to take the Elizabeth line to Tottenham Court station is sound but will be crazy ass crowded? I am staying in Charing Cross area and I think most things are walkable. Thames Uber will work some but I assume crazy crowded? Thanks in advance 😄

Subway strikes in May

Traveling to London, arrive at Heathrow on Tuesday 5/19 at 1pm and plan to leave terminal 3 on the Piccadilly line towards Charing Cross. The strike is scheduled to start at 12 noon that day. Any recommendations on how to prepare for this? Alternate transportation? Likelihood of strike actually happening? Thanks in advance 😄
