Favorite Fishing Minigame?

There have been a lot of fishing minigames throughout the Zelda series, and I was curious what you think of as the 'best', or maybe just your personal favorite? Doesn't even have to be from Zelda itself, I'd be curious to know about some good ones you've seen in other Zelda-likes as well!

I really like the fishing to feel a bit arcade-y, myself. So for the Zelda-like I am working on, it looks a bit more like a "claw machine" game. But I still tried to capture the excitement of catching a rare fish!

Deathward: Top-Down, 3D Zelda (But You're a Necromancer)

Here's my contribution to the 'Zeldalike' genre! My biggest inspiration was Link's Awakening for the Switch, but I really wanted to capture the puzzle-box dungeon design that so many Zelda games are known for. That, and unlocking new 'tools' to solve each dungeons' challenges, are the main callbacks to the Zelda franchise.

If it seems interesting to you, I'm participating in Steam Next Fest with a free demo here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3968360/Deathward/

Low Poly Necromancer Character

Pulled together a little video showcase for the protagonist character in my upcoming game. I made this a little while ago, was going for a 'tribal necromancer' aesthetic and landed here.

Hope you guys like it!
