hot take: the ending and reveal isnt bad. But it js feels so flat or like bland.

hot take: the ending and reveal isnt bad. But it js feels so flat or like bland.

Im not saying this bc of how predictable it was im saying how it was js executed.

When kinger revealed how they are all js brain scans and not real and that there was just never an exit and all the characters were sad made me confused. It's not like they were desperate to leave except for like pomni and gangle and maybe ragatha.

They only seemed to actually care about leaving the circus and returning back to their lives in like episode 7 when it was brought up as a possibility. It felt like the soma thing changed absolutely nothing other than a reason for the characters to distance themselves for a little while and for jax to abstract.

And as for the ending where Caine came back, it felt like they forgave him WAY too quickly and were kind of WAY too trusting. I know since they are now all stuck there forever they'll have to interact no matter what but still feels way too quick.

And i know the point of the show: "where you have to find yourself to enjoy the life you have even if it wasn't what you wanted or planned out" is a really good message. But it feels like they actually started to enjoy it once Jax: the abuser, manipulator, and bully was gone and where Caine actually gave them admin control or smth.

I feel like it would have all hit harder if there were some more time put into it and more focus on the other characters and plot instead of js...yk...Jax.

But 7/10 tho.

maybe unpopular opinion?: kaufmo would be a better main character than jax.

just imagine all the dynamic ideas and possible lore ideas. They could be brother and sister or used to know each other outside of the circus. And if not, their dynamic can begin in the circus in so many ways.

They both kind have similar personalities when you think about it, they're both clowns, they both desperately reach for the same thing at the start of the series: an exit out of the digital world.

I can see kaufmo and maybe ragatha helping and guiding pomni around when she comes to the circus.

Or they both come into the circus

Plus in my opinion, kaufmo alone as character whos mainly only there for the pilot and jax's backstory, is already popular and very likable (he only had like 3-5 lines of dialogue too)

are we serious rn

The only reasonable explanation for this is that she wants to believe in any reason to why shes not that close with Ren even if it's blaming it on Dunica (not including Aubrey).

Ik i make so many hate posts about her but i js really dislike her. Shes well written but i js dont like her that much anymore, shes probably my least favorite disventure camp character.

context: less than a day ive made my post and this guy posted me as the first image and posted other ppl who posted in this subbreddit have their usernames unblurred in his post. he posted this bc he hates our subbreddit and ig showed our posts as examples 💀

it takes less than a minute to do this btw sir. 💀 (and i blurred the title too so ppl dont find him too easily, i dont want him getting harassed)

nobody bothered me yet, i cant say the same for the others rn.

you can dislike the subbreddit. And u can also "mute" our subbreddit too. I hate jax and I hate some of his haters. And Im also sad that he abstracted/died.

idk if im being sensetive i js dont like how he didnt blur our usernames given the decent amount of attention from the post

lowkey, why is pomni even friends with j*x?

I hate how pomni doesnt really stick up for any of the characters while talking/being friends with j*x, especially for Ragatha: who makes sure that abuser/manipulator doesn't manipulate or corrupt her.

im not saying pomni supports j*x's actions, but what is she doing T_T (pomni's favorite character too btw)

what do you think its the most least toxic fandom?

maybe the amazing world of gumball

I mean like which fandom doesn't have a lot of controversies and is pretty chill. So far, I think an example could be bandori. many people may mischaracter the characters years ago but i think they're pretty chill now.

I also think the ramparts of ice fandom fandom is friendly too

was 1980s mode even needed or wanted? (kind of my opinion)

I cared for it a lot at first when I was introduced to "yandere simulator". In fact, i thought it was the actual game, not 20xx mode.

But now looking back theres nothing really that cool in the game. its basically almost like 20xx but with no info chan or smart phone, oh and a newspaper club and the most predictable lore ever.

The rivals are really forgettable except for sumire.

I think it would js be fine if we could have like a flashback or like phone conversations with someone talking about Ayano's mother or js talking with Ayano's mother herself. We could learn lore about the aishi's family in general throughout the gameplay if we had like family members or other character to interact with or smth.

I js feel like this game is here so ppl could draw attention from it then the actual more important and relevant mode of the game.

Also, if it took only 3 months (that may seem long but its shorter than 12 years) to make a game why couldn't the dev make all of the rivals in 20xx 3 months or longer? You could let people play each week and give what they think was good and what was bad about the weeks, yk some criticism from the fanbase but ig yanderedev js can't handle all of that and all of that work.

If you like 1980s mode, im glad you do. but in my opinion, i js don't really like it, not trying to sound harsh
