Film industry working here. Just took part time service industry job out of desperation. Trying to figure out how to still get my UI benefits between my two gigs. Anyone ever been in the same boat?

Hi all.

Times are tough in the film industry and I just took my first service industry job, starting working just one day a week in a bar.

I currently receive the maximum $450/week unless I pick up a random film shoot day here and there while I wait for my next long-term gig to start in a couple months.

I have only ever claimed UI benefits from one of a handful of faceless production payroll companies that handle thousands of UI claims all the time.

I guess starting this week, my "most recent employer" will be the restaurant group I am going to be working for. As of now, I will definitely be making less than $450 in that one work day so will be needing to claim partial unemployment benefits to supplement the $200-ish I will be making there.

I really don't know much about how UI works for people outside the film industry: will my bar get pissed off at me for claiming and listing them down? Are there any other problems listing them as my last employer that I am not forseeing as I try to start this relationship and hopefully get more hours there?

Thanks for any and all advice.

[Wheeler] Pens making lots of calls to move up in the draft. Target is assumed to be Ryan Lin if they can only get into the teens.

My wife's grandfather just passed and the family is hoping to get this photo restored and have a more natural-looking background. Apologies for low quality, any help is appreciated!
