Have you ever experienced a small act of kindness that had a surprisingly big impact on you?

Sometimes we think our help is too small to matter.

A kind word, a simple message, a few minutes of our time, or even just listening to someone can make a bigger difference than we realize.

What feels like a small gesture to us might be the thing that brightens someone else's entire day or even helps them through a difficult period in their life.

You never know how much a small act of kindness can mean to someone.

If you found out you only had one year left to live, what would you stop wasting time on immediately?

I recently read an article about people reflecting on life near the end, and one theme kept coming up: many wished they had stopped waiting for the "right time" and started living sooner.

It made me wonder:

If you knew you only had one year left to live, what's something you'd stop wasting time on immediately?

It could be a job, a relationship, fear, procrastination, social media, or anything else.

I'd love to hear your honest answers.

My first poem in English (I'd love your honest feedback)

Hi everyone,

I'm not a native English speaker—I'm from Asia—but I enjoy writing poetry in English. I'm still learning, so I'd really appreciate any honest feedback, whether it's about the wording, rhythm, or grammar.

Here's my poem:

I am a bird, I am free.

I have a hut in a big tree.

I fly across the open sky.

I keep my heart and spirit high.

I always try.

Thank you for reading.

Can we realistically hope that modern medicine will one day completely cure nystagmus?

Hi everyone,

I've been thinking about this a lot lately, and I'd really love to hear your thoughts.

With how quickly medical science is advancing—gene therapy, stem cell research, AI-assisted diagnostics, and new neurological treatments—do you think it's realistic to hope that nystagmus could one day be completely cured, rather than just managed?

I know that nystagmus can have many different causes (congenital, acquired, neurological, etc.), so a single cure may not work for everyone. Still, I wonder if future research could eventually make complete treatment possible for at least some types.

I'd love to hear from people who have:

  • Been following the latest research.
  • Spoken with specialists about future treatments.
  • Lived with nystagmus for years and have their own perspective.

Do you feel optimistic about the future, or do you think treatment will mostly continue to focus on improving symptoms rather than eliminating the condition?

I'm genuinely curious about your opinions and experiences. Thanks in advance for sharing.

Can Japan finally make a deep run at the 2026 World Cup?

Japan has plenty of talent and has caused problems for top teams before. Do you think this could be the tournament where they reach the quarterfinals or even further?

Could the USA be the Dark Horse of the 2026 World Cup?

I might be completely wrong, but I have a feeling that the USA could make a serious run in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

I'm not saying they'll win the tournament, but I wouldn't be shocked if they reached the semifinals.

As co-hosts, they'll have home support, familiarity with the venues, and a relatively young squad that has been gaining experience in major competitions over the last few years.

Most people are focusing on teams like Brazil, Argentina, France, Spain, England, and Portugal. Because of that, I think the USA is being overlooked a bit.

For me, they're one of the most interesting dark horse candidates in the tournament.

Do you think the USA has a realistic chance of reaching the semifinals, or am I overrating them?

What would need to happen for the USA to make a deep World Cup run?

⚽ Curious to hear your thoughts.

Excluding Brazil, Argentina, France, and Germany, which country do you think has the best chance of winning the 2026 FIFA World Cup?

Let's exclude the traditional favorites: Brazil, Argentina, France, and Germany.

Among the remaining teams, which country do you think has the best chance of winning the 2026 FIFA World Cup?

My personal contenders are:

  • Spain
  • England
  • Portugal
  • Netherlands

Football is always unpredictable so an underdog could surprise everyone.

Which team is your pick and why?
