As my title says, I took the phone into the sauna and when it became too hot I decided to dip it into the ice bath at the gym for one minute to cool it down. Only the top part to try and stop water ingress.

It produced condensation and the phone died.

Kept at home dry and cool for a week.

Symptoms: will turn on but battery won’t charge, it says it may have a non apps battery. I suppose it could as I bought it second hand,

No apple warranty.

I’ll take it to one of those smaller repair shops we see everywhere in Lisbon.
