Where did we go so wrong? How did we end up here?

"respect me and they will respect you" people dont respect it either so what the fuck are you even fighting for?

maybe I could understand this kind of speech if it actually was argument that worked (?) against transphobes and convinced society but things are just getting worse for damn a decade, stop saying this shit. its pathetic and doesnt work.

New definition for 4tranner dropped 🔥 🔥

honestly with some of the post y'all are posting here...

but 4tran hate is still funny to me. especially bc it seems like we generally encourage people to not use the 4tran language outside, let alone things like raid or harass ppl? like even if some posts make fun of random posts on twitter/reddit its all encouraged to stay inside lol

why do people care so much some trainers use gallows humor is beyond me..

my biggest dream in life is what everyone else gets at birth

Sometimes I think about how pathetic it is and it breaks my heart.

Literally my biggest dream is everyone else's baseline and it's so sad when I actually think about it.

Not to be rich, to marry and have family, even to look good - no, just to be like them.

Normal, "real" woman. With no asterisks. That's it. To have body that works, to have has girl childhood, to have female friends, to never fear being suspected and stressed about my rights taken away.

And it's the one thing I can never, ever have.

this was posted recently and i cant stop thinking about those lines. its haunting

"When I look in the mirror, its like loking at someone else"

the people who upvoted this (probably cis) probably dont understand it but i can. I so get it. its a perfect description of gender dysphoria.

I look at old pictures of myself sometimes and cant recongize him either. I Dont know who that person is. surely not me, right?

I feel netural a lot of the times, it's as if my brain refuses to person that man was me so it completely dissociate.
Or, when it actually accept holy shit that was me I just start crying.

and this isnt how im suppoesd to look when i look in the mirror. Im not supposed to see a stranger.

Im supposed to see her.

^((not a repost bc the point is my text))

when someone post transbian meme on a lesbian subreddit

90% of the times its a variant of "Would any of you like some girlcock, fellow lesbians 😉😉😉"

I feel like I see more trans people shitting on bottom surgeries than transphobes

(specifically mtf) idk if its just me but I see so much fear mongering and basically talking about how not good bottom surgery is on normie trans subreddit and talking to trans people irl, and even worse the constant gock talk 😭

its like every cis person I told im going have srs say something like "woah so brave! congrats!"

meanwhile every tranny irl I talked to is like "damn are u sure? idk I like mine!!🤪 theres so many compilations" just so many doubts and hinting how bad it can go and it won't be real etc

like yea I know it can go kinda shit but I would rather have the worlds ugliest vulva than a functional penis bruh idc and it doesnt feel like its coming from worrying, its just to make themselves feeling good about having their natal anatomy by outright dismissing bottom surgery.

Was there irreparable damage done to how the public see trans people?

So, I'm not from the US so I csnt really tell but honestly the situation is really sad from the outside?

It seems like both sides got wayy too extreme and now it's commonplace to just completely dismiss transgender/transsexual people to the point where it seems like ppl won't even accept "transmedicialist" frameworks at this point?

I feel like in my place, most people still respect trans people even if out of pity (i.e "they were born in the wrong body") which yeah have downsides, visability is lower, but I feel like it's preferred outcome to where things in the US are where its all or nothing. (like, either being anti-trans or accepting any weird thing)

Is it basically too late?

and to be clear: i do think the right used trans people as scapegoats and they exggerated by a longshot.
