[Disclaimer:- I haven't completed Pokemon. I am watching XYZ now. So what I am writing here is based on the experience of Kanto to Kalos.]

I know Team rocket is a crucial part of the series and without them the travelling episodes of our heroes would have been quite boring.

Most of the time they had no other work except trying to steal Ash's Pikachu and any other Pokemon they found interesting or any legendary/mythical Pokemon. Also most of the time their way of trying to accomplish their daily wrong doings were quite similar and they were usually very dull at Pokemon battling . But all the things considered,they were quite the fun.

But at some point of the series they became too much annoying and irritating. Like they have become so arrogant (especially Jessie, she was so full of herself), their ambition became too high and way out of their league, pulling too much nasty and cowardly tactics to steal Pokemons , sometime treating very harshly the Pokemons they managed to steal, etc.

I started to feel these things slowly from the Hoenn region. Like, when it was about the Pokemon contest in Hoenn and sinnoh jessie was so full of herself. Same for the Pokemon performance in kalos. But this was ok and quite fun considering this was part of Jessie's own personality and character.

But, they started to feel annoying and irritating from the Unova region.

After Giovanni personally assigned them tasks , they became so full of themselves (To be honest the only thing I felt cool about them in the Unova region was how they were moving with those high tech gadgets and jetpacks they got from the headquarters).

I feel like we've got to much of their daily efforts to catch Pikachu .Instead they should have given more of Team rocket's exclusive missions. From Kanto to Kalos, We only got to watch team rocket's exclusive works only in the johto and Unova region.

Kalos is the place where they really became too much annoying and irritating.

They have become too much ambitious like they tried to steal the Gardevoir of Kalos champion Diantha which was way out of their league.

It really became irritating to watch that how they started to pull some very very nasty and cowardly dirty tactics to steal Pokemons. I really hate when they fooled and manipulated the florges and used her floette as a mean of their nasty tactics in the home village of ash's goodra, the wetlands. They also cowardly attacked from hiding and injured goodra after the fight between florges and goodra. They also stole all the healing effect water even after knowing doing that harm the ill floette seriously who they used for their tactics. They just forgot even the basic kindness ,what they had before.

They sometimes made a truce with the heroes in some serious situations. But they only did that because they had no choice and for sale of their own missions and ambitions.

Overall,even James, Jessie and mewoth are quite good people as individual and they all had quite the backstory. But as a team they became very bad gradually.

That's my opinion on team rocket.

I know I ended up making this very lengthy. But I really appreciate it if you are writing this and I would like to know your opinion on this as well.
