What is the culture like here?

I’m a bit confused still about what Mines is about? All the welcome events feel really different from other colleges.

Why is there a need to have al of this. Sorry if I sound really ignorant right now.

AP Scores were Dih anyways

None of it really mattered. I think I saved around not even a semester worth. 😭😭😭

Dual enrollment did more.

Are the AP Physics Harder than the College level courses?

Despite being one semester long for college level and moving a lot faster. I still cannot do pretty much a single AP Physics C E&M frq question lol. The application of Physics is so different from college level vs. what AP has people doing.

This is to say I’m almost done dual enrolling College Physics 2 E&M Calculus based. Crazy how I’m getting a credit being accepted to the college I’m going to but the AP Phys C exam is genuinely harder. 💀

Will I get expelled and how will Financial Aid change?

Hi everyone

I’m currently dual enrolling at a Community College this summer semester. However, I quickly realized taking 14 point hours was a bad idea. If it helps I was admitted this year.

I have no choice but to fail a few classes because they are a time sink and are difficult.

How would failing a few classes affect me at Mines and should I be worried about anything?

Will anything happen if I fail a few classes at a Community College?

So I’m attending a 4 year Uni that I wanted to get into. However, this summer I decided to take about 14 credit hours and I realized that was a terrible idea because work and no motivation.

Luckily Fafsa paid for most of the costs. I was wondering does SAP transfer to my main University and will it affect my Fafsa there or everything will stay at the CC? I still have time to withdraw or try to pass. I know my Uni takes C- as transfer credits only.

Storage, cars, and fridge

Hi

In the Mines dorms are you able to store heavy or large items such as a fridge or large bikes?

The ceilings seem too vertical or narrow to store items.

What about cars are you allowed to go around campus?

Are fridge allowed in the dorms?
