2026 on film so far

2026 is officially the year I started dabbling in film photography. It hasn’t even been a full year yet, but I’m almost enjoying it as much as iPhone photography. I think iPhones have gotten so good in the past few years that it’s become « easy » to come away with good shots. Analog photography reintroduces that challenge of having to nail multiple things so that you get a good shot. Either that, or I hate money 💸

French Airshows

Inspired by that one guy who took his Contax to an airshow and posted here.

Unfortunately my DIY sealing repair doesn't seem to have been 100 successful, I'll try and see around if I can get it done on the cheap professionally in Paris (open to suggestions if anyone has some).

Film was Kodak Gold 200, camera was Fujica AX-1, lens was an EBC 50mm f/2,8, airshow was "Fête des Hélices" in the south of Paris region.

Mundane scenes from Phuket | Snapic A1 + Kodak Gold 200

One of my favourite shots from Phuket. It’s such a simple and uninteresting composition that had it been on digital I would’ve barely passed a second on it. And yet the fact that it is a film photograph just makes you appreciate every aspect so much more.
