Problem/Goal: I need advice on what I should do about my relationship.

Context: I don't know if my boyfriend and I have truly broken up. We haven't talked properly ever since he found out that I hid a conversation with a friend of mine. This friend of mine messaged me about academic stuff and I replied. A week before our fight, we have been fighting with my bf and because i wanted to avoid conflict, I hid our conversation. Then my boyfriend saw that I hid our conversation with the friend of mine. I explained to him that I was scared of what his reaction would be since we had been fighting and kept having arguments that lasted for days, I didn't want us to keep fighting. But, stupid me, I hid our convo, thinking that we could avoid conflict. Now, my boyfriend told me that we should end our relationship, and I begged him to give me a chance, and I don't know if he is giving me a chance since we have not talked since. I broke his trust, but I really want to prove to him that I can fix this. But how do I deal with all of this? I'm so confused with what I should do.
