Saved over $200 doing it this way. $300+ saved to do a rear.

Shops won't change tires if you don't buy them from the shop. They charge msrp and $100 to install.

I got frustrated and decided to just do it myself. It only took about an hour of actual work. But it was so frustrating that I took 2 doobie breaks.

Looking for experienced opinions. T120 vs ST1200 as 2nd bike for 2up?

I am seriously considering buying a 2nd bike. I currently ride a 2023 Cb1000r. I want a more capable 2up bike to take my wife and kids on. The Cb has tons of power, but is pretty uncomfortable and is a bit lacking on low end torque so I spend a lot of time feathering the clutch.

I have narrowed my choice down to either a Speed Twin 1200 or a T120. The ST definitely has my interest more so than the T120. I used to own a Buell XB12r and loved the engine. The ST seems very similar power wise.

But, my main reason for this bike is 2up riding so the T120 seems like the more practical choice.

If you've ridden both, especially 2up, or have owned both to compare, which would you choose?
